About the Marina

Bridgemarsh Marina is different

Welcome to Bridgemarsh Marina, it is different as it is non corporate and owned and run by a local farming family,

It is the friendliest, best value marina on the crouch and closest to the mainline railway station at Althorne.

We like small boats.

Berths afloat are available from + or - one hour for high water springs to being continuously afloat for boats of one and half metre draft. For metre draft boats marina access is guaranteed at + or -  4 hrs high tide even at springs and longer thereafter.

Depending on demand, rafting up agreements can be considered to reduce the rates even further.

Bridgemarsh Marina in Althorne, Facilities for boaties include loos and showers and an open site policy with regards to tradesmen working on your boat.

The Boatyard

Provides staff for simple repairs , antifouling with a slip, scrubbing posts and crane on standby to assist..

As well as standard bits and paints etc., the marina sells a range of

Flo-gas propane and butane in most sizes.
